Natural Homemade Pedicure Solutions
Pedicure is a perfect way to relax and get wonderful care of your feet. But it costs a hell of a lot of money and doing it frequently may not be affordable for many women. However, you may pamper your feet at home by creating some spa-pedicure procedures with these simple tips.
For a natural exfoliator, cuticle cream and overnight cream you will need:
- Peppermint and Lavender essential oils
- Sweet almond oil
- Sea salt
- Natural clay
- Olive oil
For exfoliator, in a mixing bowl combine about one and a half of cups of sea salt without any additions. Add to the bowl 4 tablespoons of almond oil and mix well. Add a couple of drops each peppermint and lavender essential oils and mix again until well combined.
Rub with this mixture your feet paying attention to problem zones such as heels and the back area of your ankles. Then rinse with warm water. You may store the remains in an airtight container for about one year.
For homemade cuticle cream, combine in a small bowl 1 tablespoon natural clay with 1 tablespoon olive oil and a few drops of lavender essential oil. Stir well until the even consistency is obtained and a thick smooth paste is formed. Apply the paste to your toenails’ cuticles and rub gently. This mixture can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 24 month.
For overnight cream, mix pureed banana with ½ teaspoons honey and the juice of one lemon until mixed well. Apply this puree onto your feet before going to bed. Put a pair of socks and leave the mixture overnight. In the morning, rinse your feet with warm water.
